The most common types of crime in the U.S. can be classified into five categories: homicide, rape, robbery, aggravated assault and burglary.
In the most populous cities, where residents typically live, homicide is the third most common crime, followed by robbery and aggravated assault.
The most violent cities in the nation are New York City and Los Angeles.
In the Midwest, Chicago is the most violent city in the country.
In Southwestern states, the most dangerous place to be is in Arizona.
Crime rates in the most urban areas are lower than those in rural areas.
In some cities, the violent crime rate is higher than the murder rate.
That is because the city’s residents have a higher risk of being murdered than other people, or because the murder of one person may be more deadly than the killing of another.
In addition, people living in neighborhoods where there are more shootings or other incidents of violence can be more vulnerable to the type of crime they commit.
The city with the highest violent crime is Memphis, Tenn.
The most dangerous crime in each city is homicide, according to the National Crime Victimization Survey, which was conducted by the FBI.
That crime includes murder, forcible rape, aggravated rape, armed robbery and murder-for-hire.
In 2015, there were about 5,300 murders, the FBI reported.
In cities with high rates of violent crime, residents are more likely to live in neighborhoods with more shooting incidents.
A majority of homicide victims in Nashville, Tenn., live in a neighborhood with a shooting rate higher than 20 percent.
In Minneapolis, where homicides are rare, a quarter of homicides are reported in a shooting scene.
In addition, the average homicide victim in Nashville is likely to be the victim of a robbery, according the survey.
In Chicago, shootings are the second most common type of robbery, followed, in order, by aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft and assault.
A study by researchers at Vanderbilt University showed that violent crime rates in some cities were highest in areas with the most shootings.
Nashville, with its high homicide rate, had the highest homicide rate.
In Atlanta, which has a homicide rate of more than 20 per 100,000 residents, Nashville has the highest rate.
In New York, the number of murders has risen more than 10 percent in recent years.
The murder rate has climbed about 10 percent annually, compared with a 9 percent increase in the city over the past five years.
A report released by the Bureau of Justice Statistics showed that in 2015, murders increased by more than 4,600.
The highest rate of increases occurred in the Westchester and Nassau Counties, with the Westsville, Brooklyn and Newburgh Counties the two largest cities in those areas.
There are other reasons why cities with the lowest crime rates tend to have the lowest levels of gun ownership.
For example, the rate of gun homicides is lowest in urban areas, where many residents are younger and less likely to own a gun.
Gun ownership is also more likely in suburban and rural areas, which tend to be more crime-prone.
In 2016, a study by the University of Southern California found that the homicide rate in Los Angeles County was lower than the rate in suburban areas, including Los Angeles, Long Beach, Westchester, Orange and San Diego counties.
The study also found that crime rates are lower in suburban counties where guns are illegal.
The data from the FBI and the Bureau for Justice Statistics shows that the number and types of guns in the hands of Americans have remained relatively stable over the last decade, according a statement from the Bureau.
